NURS 2600 - Pathopharmacology IV1 credit(s)
Prerequisite (taken before): NURS 2200 - Pathopharmacology III
The following course must be taken before or at the same time: NURS 2500 - Lifespan IV , NURS 2700 - Nursing Judgment IV
This course continues the study of pharmacology combined with the study of pathophysiology of disease processes; linking the two to support key concepts of both domains. Pharmacological nursing practice across the lifespan and the concepts of pathophysiology are presented in an integrated manner to provide a basis for study of selected medication that are used to treat or manage concepts of multi-system and emergent health problems with application to nursing practice.
