General Education Core Requirements - Diploma

Diploma Requirements

To complete a diploma at Central Community College a student must complete a minimum of 32 semester hours of credit, including nine credits in the General Education areas listed below. All courses must carry a course number of 1000 or greater.

Consultation with an advisor will assure that General Education courses apply toward diploma completion.

General Education Core Requirements

All graduates with a diploma will complete a minimum of 9 credits of General Education from the following:

• GEN ED Group A: Communications 3 credit(s)
• GEN ED Group B: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving 3 credit(s)
• GEN ED Group C: Life and Career Skills, D: Information & Technology Literacy or E: Global Awareness 3 credit(s)
