Through partnerships with other higher learning institutions, CCC helps students to achieve their degree goals while saving time and money. University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Central Community College (CCC) and Wayne State College have a transfer agreement for the CCC Associate of Science (AS) Degree and the Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology and Information Systems at Wayne State College. ELEMENTARY EDUCATION
Hastings College Bachelor Bound Teacher Education
In order to provide the opportunity for a seamless transfer for education majors from Central Community College (CCC) to Hastings College, CCC offers the opportunity for a limited number of participants to enroll in the Hastings College Bachelor Bound Teacher Education Program. Students wishing to enroll in the program should declare that intention with their CCC advisor, develop a plan and maintain full-time status with CCC during the two-year course sequence. Although some of the classes are offered at Hastings College, participants register for courses with, and pay, CCC tuition.
The Hastings College courses are taught and graded by Hastings College professors, but become part of the CCC transcript. Students are limited to a maximum of two of the specified education classes at Hastings College per semester. Courses during the Hastings College summer sessions do not qualify for CCC tuition rates. Any additional Hastings College course fees are the student’s responsibility. Admission to the Hastings College Bachelor Bound Teacher Education program is contingent upon:
- Praxis Test and Application and acceptance to the Teacher Education program.
- Meeting Hastings College Bachelor Bound Teacher Education Standards.

ENGINEERING
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Central Community College (CCC) has an agreement with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering in which students can take courses at CCC for two years, then transfer to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln the third year as Juniors. Students who plan to major in Agricultural Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering may begin this Bachelor’s Degree program at CCC. Kansas Wesleyan University
Central Community College (CCC) and Kansas Wesleyan University have a transfer agreement for general education credit. Kansas Wesleyan University assures the acceptance of any CCC Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) graduate as a baccalaureate degree-seeking student with junior standing. LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SERVICES
Central Community College (CCC) offers a certificate program in Library and Information Services (LIS). This certificate fulfills requirements for the Nebraska Library Commission’s Basic Skills Training for public librarians as well as re-certification. Courses may be transferred to the University of Nebraska-Omaha. PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT
Northeast Community College & Southeast Community College
Northeast Community College (NECC) and Southeast Community College (SCC) of Nebraska, in cooperation with Central Community College (CCC), provide students the opportunity to enter the occupation of Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Students pursuing an education to become a PTA can complete the program’s pre-requisites at a CCC campus or center. The student will then need to apply to either the NECC or SCC program. The remaining courses will be taken at NECC in Norfolk or SCC in Lincoln, NE upon acceptance into the respective program. Students will graduate from NECC or SCC. Clarkson College
Clarkson College offers an AS degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. Pre-requisite courses can be taken at Central Community College (CCC), The student will then need to apply to the Clarkson College program. RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGY
Mary Lanning Hospital (Hastings)
Students can earn an AAS in Radiologic Technology from Mary Lanning. The 30 hours of pre-requisite program courses can be taken at Central Community College (CCC). The student will then need to apply to the Mary Lanning program. The remaining courses will be taken at Mary Lanning upon acceptance into the program. Clarkson College
Clarkson College offers an Associate of Science (AS) Degree in Radiologic Technology. Seventeen hours of specific courses may be taken at Central Community College (CCC). Southeast Community College
Southeast Community College (SCC) in Nebraska, in cooperation with Central Community College (CCC), provides students the opportunity to enter the occupation of Radiologic Technology. RESPIRATORY CARE
Southeast Community College
Through an affiliation agreement between Central Community College (CCC) and Southeast Community College (SCC) in Lincoln, students can earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Respiratory Care from SCC by completing course work at CCC, courses from SCC online and clinical requirements in the CCC service area.
Candidates for the respiratory care program at SCC are required to complete a minimum of 38 semester hours of specific college prerequisites from CCC. Students must achieve a minimum grade of 75 percent (C) in each course to transfer to SCC for credit in the Respiratory Care Program.
As students complete the last semester of the prerequisite coursework, they must submit an application to SCC for admission to the web-based respiratory care program. The number of students admitted to the program each year will be determined by the availability of clinical sites, but generally not more than 25 students are admitted for one online course.

SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY
Southeast Community College
Southeast Community College (SCC) of Nebraska, in cooperation with Central Community College (CCC), provides graduates the opportunity to enter the occupation of surgical technology. This program allows the student to maintain residency in their hometown area. Students pursuing an education in surgical technology can complete the program’s pre-requisite courses at a CCC campus or center. The student will then need to apply to the SCC program. The surgical technology courses will be taken from SCC through online coursework and clinics at the local hospital upon acceptance into the program. Students will graduate from SCC and are eligible to take the National Certification Examination to become a certified surgical technologist. NEBRASKA TRANSFER INITIATIVE
The Nebraska Transfer Initiative began in 1995 as a group of general education transfer courses which were articulated among the six Nebraska community colleges. These courses share the same alpha, number, and course content. Recently the Nebraska Transfer Initiative has been expanded to include some non-general education courses which can be used as transfer electives.
