MEDT 2320 - Clinical Microbiology4 credit(s) Prerequisite (taken before): BIOS 2260 - General Anatomy & Physiology II The following course must be taken before or at the same time: MEDT 2340 - Parasitology/Mycology Explains the basic skills, principles, and techniques for the staining, culturing, isolation, and identification of microorganisms of medical importance. Student will interpret clinical specimens to provide data correlation including diagnostics and treatment. Techniques for determining antibiotic sensitivity will be demonstrated.
