MART 1600 - Typography3 credit(s) Prerequisite (taken before): All areas of typography will be addressed, along with set techniques and media and student projects. This course will explore the use of typography from historical to contemporary perspectives. Basic letter forms, major type families and characteristics, and the relationship between type and image in visual communications will be emphasized.
