Purpose
The Cybersecurity Certificate is designed to provide students with a focus on developing skills in the exciting field of Cybersecurity. The Cybersecurity Certificate will offer a student the opportunity to study and practice techniques on wide variety of topics. Students will develop the skills required in today’s security aware business and enterprise environments. Also, students will utilize tools and techniques to learn how to stop Hackers in their tracks. Included in this certificate track is the prized Security + Certification preparation course. The Security + Certification is an industry recognized certification required by many employers to enter into the cybersecurity field.
