Purpose
The Occupational Therapy Assistant program prepares students to be critically thinking, creative, caring, and socially responsive occupational therapy practitioners prepared to respond competently to the occupational needs (health, wellness, and preventative) of people and communities and the occupational demands of the profession. Note: This degree is available at Grand Island Suggested Sequence of Courses General Education Core Requirements
All graduates with an AA, AS, AAS or ADN will complete a minimum of 15 credits of General Education from the following (AA and AS students will have additional requirements) Note: Gen Ed Group B requirement is met through program prerequisites: - GEN ED Group A: Communications 3 credit(s)
