Purpose
The Basic Electronic, Computers and Networking Diploma provides a basic program curriculum designed to help the student achieve entry-level employment in a reduced period of time after which continued education can be pursued to achieve the AAS degree level. Basic Achievement Requirements
All graduates with a diploma will meet minimum achievements for math, writing and reading. They can meet the requirement by:

1. Scores from MAP testing - |

a. Math - COMPASS Pre-Algebra 49 or above* |
|
|
b. Writing - COMPASS 62 or above* |
|
|
c. Reading - COMPASS 76 or above* |
|
|
*or equivalent ACT or ASSET score
|
|
OR |
|
|
2. Completion with a C or above |
|
|
a. Math - MATH 0940 |
|
|
b. Writing - ENGL 0980 |
|
|
c. Reading - READ 0930 |
General Education Core Requirements
All graduates with a diploma will complete a minimum of 9 credits of General Education from the following:
- GEN ED Group A: Communications 3 credit(s)
- GEN ED Group B: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving 3 credit(s)
- GEN ED Group C: Career and Life Skills, D: Information & Technology Literacy or E: Global Awareness 3 credit(s)
Total Credits for Diploma: 30
