Prerequisite (taken before): ACCT 1210 - Principles of Accounting II ,and ACCT 1340 - Excel - Business Applications
Developing data analytic skills for accountants, students will utilize software to analyze data. Students will learn the skills of data preparation, data visualization, data analysis, and data interpretations applicable to real-world accounting problems. Emphasis will be on providing data-driven insights and recommendations using an analytic mode.
