Prerequisite (taken before): NURS 1100 - Lifespan I
The following course must be taken before or at the same time: NURS 1600 - Pathopharmacology II , NURS 1700 - Nursing Judgement II , PSYC 2890 - Developmental Psychology
This course builds on concepts already introduced within the three domains of health and illness, health care recipient, and professional nursing while allowing for the introduction and application of additional concepts. Emphasis is placed on meeting the health, wellness, and illness needs of the stable and predictable patient across the lifespan. Focus is on meeting the needs of patients and families related to human flourishing, nursing judgment, professional identity, and spirit of inquiry in a variety of healthcare clinical settings.
