This course introduces concepts within the three domains of health and illness, health care recipient, and professional nursing.  Emphasis is placed on concepts within each domain concentrating on meeting the fundamental needs of the patient across the lifespan.  The focus is on the development of safe patient-centered care meeting the needs related to human flourishing, nursing judgment, professional identity, and spirit of inquiry in a variety of healthcare clinical settings.
