For more information please see the Academic Transfer and General Education Program Overview. The Associate of Arts degree is for students who plan to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at Central Community College (CCC) before transferring to a four-year college or university. CCC works closely with other colleges to facilitate the acceptance of credits. As a result, our students may transfer up to 66 credit hours. The Associate of Arts degree requires 60 semester hours of credit. Most transfer institutions will not accept grades below a “C” for transfer. Students are encouraged to meet with their advisor to determine a program of transfer courses which meet the receiving institution’s requirements.
