Purpose
A diploma in the Pharmacy Technician Program provides the training needed to begin a high demand career in a growing healthcare field. In this program, students will have hands-on training and real world applications that will give them the skills necessary to be a successful pharmacy technician. Students will be prepared to work in retail, hospital, and/or home health environments. Note: This degree is available at Grand Island Suggested Sequence of Courses General Education Core Requirements
All graduates with a diploma will complete a minimum of 9 credits of General Education from the following:
- GEN ED Group A: Communications 3 credit(s)
- GEN ED Group B: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving 3 credit(s)
- GEN ED Group C: Life and Career Skills, D: Information & Technology Literacy or E: Global Awareness 3 credit(s)
