This course provides an overview of paraeducators’ responsibilities, knowledge, and skills, incorporating Project Para-a web-based program that prepares students for work as Nebraska paraeducators. It includes essential certification and content skills assessments required by Title I, ESSA, Rule 11, and IDEA. Through discussion, reflection, and interaction with faculty, students can deepen their understanding and foster their professional growth.
