PHRM 1130 - Pharmacy Practice Lab

2 credit(s)
Understand similarities and differences between different types of pharmacy settings. Study of different pharmacy practice settings, payment systems, dispensing considerations study the purpose of policies and procedures appropriate for the setting. Proper and effective professional communications will be emphasized. The lab is a comprehensive pharmacy lab. The student will learn/practice different aspects of the pharmacy technician jobs in different pharmacy settings including order preparation, filling and delivery to the end user.
