PARM 1070 - OB/GYN & Pediatrics3 credit(s)
The following course must be taken before or at the same time: PARM 1060 - Medical Emergencies
Application and integration of assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implementation plan for the management of gynecological, obstetrical and pediatric emergencies. This will include practice in assisting delivery of a newborn that will be done in lab as well as in a simulations of a prehospital environment. At the conclusion of this course students will receive Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
