An introduction to the visual elements and organizing principles of three-dimensional art and design. Emphasis is placed on 3-D forms and materials; processes in modeling, construction, assemblage, fabrication, and installation; visual literacy; creative thinking, research practices, and problem seeking/solving; and the critical analysis of historic and contemporary art making.
