INFO 2840 - Data Science and Analytics3 credit(s) This course is designed to provide a foundation in data science and analytics. Concepts to be covered include analyzing data - to describe and understand, or to make predictions, solid background on descriptive statistics, probability, and inferential statistics, needed to understand and utilize data analysis techniques. Using Python programming language, students will perform examples of functions from the matplotlib, seaborn, pandas, scikit-learn and other packages commonly used in industry applications.
