Prerequisite (taken before): ECED 1150 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education , ECED 1220 - Pre-Practicum
Co-requisite (taken at same time): ECED 1120 - Preschool Child Development
Provides an understanding of the development stages of children from 3-5 years by participating in hands-on experiences in selected early childhood settings. Students will develop an awareness of appropriate adult/child interaction while developing positive employee skills. Basic skills in planning and implementing a daily routine and curriculum activities for children from 3-5 years are also presented.
