OTHA 2000 - Gerontology & Physical Disabilities Practice4 credit(s) Prerequisite (taken before): This course introduces the student to the etiology, symptoms, prognosis, and treatment of conditions commonly treated in geriatric and physical rehabilitation and the impact on occupational performance. The course provides the student with the role and clinical knowledge of occupational therapy assistant in gerontology and physical disability practice and the clinical knowledge of skills required to provide intervention to a variety of physical dysfunctions.
