Associate of Science Degree

For more information please see the Academic Transfer and General Education Program Overview.

The Associate of Science degree is for students who plan to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at Central Community College (CCC) before transferring to a four-year college or university. CCC works closely with other colleges to facilitate the acceptance of credits. As a result, our students may transfer up to 66 credit hours. The Associate of Science degree requires 60 semester hours of credit. Most transfer institutions will not accept grades below a “C” for transfer. Students are encouraged to meet with their advisor to determine a program of transfer courses which meet the receiving institution’s requirements.
