Health Informatics Certificate

Purpose

The Health Informatics certificate provides advanced training for health care or information technology professionals where the two disciplines intersect. The student will examine the resources required to optimize the acquisition, storage, retrieval and use of information in health care. With the approval of the advisor, the student will complete six required credits and six elective credits based on the student’s prior expertise.
