Program Description
Students in the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts program are exposed to the exciting careers in the hospitality industry through experience in classes, field trips, tours and internships. Graduates are highly sought after by industry employers. Specializations include: Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, with certificates in the following areas: Culinary Concepts, Hospitality Concepts, Hotel Management, Pastry & Baking, Restaurant Management, and Tourism & Event Planning.
Student Learning Outcomes
Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts graduates are prepared to:
- Identify basic organizational principles within the hospitality management process.
- Exhibit personal and business standards accepted in the hospitality industry.
- Examine foundations of management, leadership and human resource in hospitality management.
- Identify the principles of quality customer service.
