PHRM 1110 - Introduction to Pharmacy Technology2 credit(s)
The following course must be taken before or at the same time: PHRM 1120 - Principles of Pharmacology I , PHRM 1130 - Pharmacy Practice Lab , PHRM 1220 - Prescription Basics
The course will introduce the role of a pharmacy technician in a variety of health care settings, hospital, retail, long-term care. Students will be introduced to a variety of health care systems, in particular, the role of the pharmacy. Discover what is expected of becoming a pharmacy technician and a wide and general understanding of the pharmacy technician’s scope of practice.
