Prerequisite (taken before):
This course provides knowledge of global social issues, health and wellness needs of populations, and practical consideration of those at risk for social injustice, occupational deprivation, and disparity in the receipt of services. This course addresses the role and responsibility of advocacy for services to effect changes in community and recognize opportunities for emerging practice areas.
