PHRM 1250 - Pharmaceutical Calculations2 credit(s) The following course must be taken before or at the same time: PHRM 1110 - Introduction to Pharmacy Technology , PHRM 1120 - Principles of Pharmacology , PHRM 1130 - Pharmacy Practice Lab , PHRM 1220 - Prescription Basics The introduction of the Roman numerals, metric, avoirdupois, and apothecary systems of measure and calculations as it relates to pharmaceutical orders. Students will learn simple to complex math calculations as performed in the pharmacy setting including but not limited to decimals, fractions, percents, simple dose calculations, conversions, aliquots, and flow rates.
