Prerequisite (taken before): PARM 1080 Special Populations & EMS Operations
Co-requisite (taken at same time): PARM 2400 Paramedic Field Internship
A comprehensive study as well as certifications of Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). This will give a well-rounded review of trauma care, medical disease process and treatment, as well as high quality advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation. All, while emphasizing skills, procedures and teamwork required for paramedic certification.
