MEDA 1100 - Exam Room I2 credit(s)
This course is an introduction to the various instruments and equipment used by the medical assistant in a medical office, along with the use of PPE, proper body mechanics, infection control and office safety. Students will have an opportunity to identify various office instruments and develop the necessary skills to work with and care for the equipment. In addition, the student will demonstrating proper body mechanics, infection control procedures, office safety and the correct use of PPE.
