OTHA 1000 - Intro to Occupational Therapy

This course provides students with an introduction to occupational therapy and the role of the occupational therapy assistant. Topics include history, development, philosophy, role delineation, supervision, scope of practice, ethics, values, and practice framework of the professional. The role of occupational therapy in health care, community based and educational systems are also explored.
