Topics include nomenclature, atomic structure, chemical reactions, essentials of bonding, periodic properties, Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion Theory (VSEPR) theory, modern bonding theories, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, and the chemistry of solids, liquids, gases.
