The Heavy Equipment Operator Technology program is designed to prepare students to be skilled technicians who operate large equipment for the construction of roads, land leveling, pipe laying, and other operations requiring the movement of large volumes of materials. Students will be taught skills to operate earth-moving equipment in a safe and efficient manner using technical drawings and field markers. Students will also earn a Class B CDL license. This program will utilize the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum and assessments that provide nationally recognized and portable credentials.
